Now here is something special!
The Monstera Peru is definitely a plant worth considering, especially if you're new to plants but want to start with something fancy! They're often prized for their glorious thick textured foliage and deep green colouring. However, unlike many Monstera(AKA Delicious Monster Fam.) they do not develop fenestrations (holes) such as their family counterparts.
This fabulous houseplant is an epiphyte in nature making it fantastically versatile and can be allowed to trail or climb, whichever you prefer to create that ideal aesthetic in your Urban Jungle Masterpiece. And as a relatively fast grower can make a delightful statement, just be sure to provide good bright indirect light and decent humidity levels.
Pair your Monstera Peru with one of our stylish planters for an eye-catching specimen, be it simply styled on a tabletop or as a shelfie dweller among other gorgeously curated houseplants or decor, whichever you choose you can't go wrong.
Please note: Monstera is considered toxic if consumed. Best kept out of reach of plant destroyers.
Follow these instructions to keep your Monstera Peru healthy and happy:
Water: Allow to dry out well between each watering, their leaves store water, so overwatering can be a thing if kept too moist.
Light: Medium to bright indirect light is best to thrive, avoid direct sunlight.
Humidity: Medium to high humidity, will appreciate being on a pebble tray or somewhere with higher humidity.
Fertilize: Balanced Fertilizer every 2 weeks, no need to feed during Winter unless still actively growing.
