If you're looking for a pop of colour to add to your houseplant collection or just something that'll add a little extra flamboyance to your indoor decor then this is the plant for you.
Not only is the Boat Lily a fantastic easy-care houseplant but has striking foliage that is loved for the subtle pinks and greens as well as their quirky and unusual blooms that appear in spring and summer months.
The Boat Lily houseplant is relatively compact in its growth habit making it perfect for someone looking to fill a small space or needs something that won't outgrow its space too quickly.
They make a fabulous shelf plant or look gorgeous among other lush green foliage in a curated plant corner, as long as the choice of space has good bright light this beauty will thrive. As tropical plants, they prefer warm humid conditions to look their best. Humidity is not of utmost importance but warmth is as cooler conditions can lead to root rot, especially if the soil is kept too moist.
Pair this pretty plant with a classic planter for a sophisticated look or keep it traditional with an earthy terracotta. Whichever you choose will make this plant a true show stopper.
Please note: Tradescantia can cause illness if eaten and are best kept out of reach of pets and children.
