About this Frog
Endemic to Borneo where it is widespread, though also found in Brunei, Indonesia, and Malaysia. With their bark-like patterning, these frogs are perfectly camouflaged when climbing up high ground to view their surroundings. Their eggs are laid in a foamy nest above bodies of water, which wash away in the Rain once the tadpoles have hatched.

Artists Bio
GeniĀ Saunders is an artist and designer by day and an artist during evenings and on weekends. As a child, she spent hours catching tadpoles near her childhood home in Gqeberha, and has a lifelong fascination with frogs developed.
Geni'sĀ work aims to showcase the amazing diversity, superpowers, and fragility of amphibians. As well as taking part in the conversation about their vulnerable and uncertain future.
