The large-leafed Footstool Palm will make a valiant contribution to any plant collection or as a standard-alone tabletop showpiece.

This house plant will remove harmful toxins from the air, leaving you with a cleaner, healthier home or office environment. Enjoy the new growth spectacle, as the Fan Palm pushes out compacted fans from the centre of its trunk, only to unfurl into striking large leaves.

Give your plant a nice warm, brightly lit spot, preferably in a space that has naturally high humidity, e.g. a kitchen or bathroom.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Follow these instructions to keep your Footstool Palm healthy and happy.

Water: Water thoroughly, then allow top layer to dry out slightly before watering again. Be sure not to let the plant sit in waterlogged soil.
Light: Bright indirect light will be great, with some partial shade also possible.
Humidity: High humidity is preferable, as the leaf edges can dry out if the humidity is not high enough. Consider misting occasionally.
Fertilize: Feed monthly with diluted balanced organic fertilizer during the growing season, and cut back to no feeding during winter.
