Palm peat potting medium, also known as coir or coconut husk, is a high-water-holding, well-aerated, and antifungal alternative to potting soil. It ensures good seed germination and vigorous root, plant and flower development. It can be added to regular potting soil to provide extra drainage, avoid compaction, and retain moisture better.

METHOD OF USE:
- Break Palm Peat brick in a large (10 litre) bucket or tub and use it as needed.
- Use 3 to 4 litres of water per peat block and soak overnight, you can always add more water if needed.
- After you have soaked the block, fluff it up with your hands or a hand fork. The consistency will be similar to potting soil.
- Add to potting soil with some perlite if required, and mix to form consistency required or use as is.
- Fill a planter to within 5cm from the top with the moistened and fluffed coco peat or Soil mix. Use for re-potting or planting.
