Grow this beautiful indigenous shrub from seed with this easy seed kit. This hardy plant is a strong grower that develops into an attractive, sturdy and rounded shrub, making it a wonderful choice for smaller gardens.
Reaching a height of around 0.5 to 0.7 metres, it stays compact while still producing an abundance of colour. The tubular flowers are gently curved and range from soft pink to warm orange, creating a striking display in the garden.
The plant flowers from autumn through to spring, providing a long season of colour while helping attract birds and pollinators. Its manageable size makes it ideal for growing in pots, as well as a lovely addition to garden beds and borders.
The pack contains five seeds, along with Cape Seed Smoke Primer to help trigger germination by mimicking the natural post fire conditions of the fynbos ecosystem. It is packaged in a self-sealing cellophane sleeve, making it easy to send as a thoughtful gardening gift.
