Scientific Name: Codiaeum variegatum
Common Names: Croton, Croton Gold Dust

  • Fabulously speckled foliage
  • Gorgeous pop of interest & colour
  • Easy care houseplant
  • Loves bright light & humidity
  • Will grow into a large bush with character

These strikingly lovely houseplants will add a pop of colour and intrigue to any interior space creating interest among swathes of green, adding that quintessential Jungle nuance. Featuring interesting sunny yellow-green leaves and look like they've been sprinkled with flecks of yellow gold. Hence their name, Gold dust.

The Croton is super easy-care and fuss-free amongst being bright and bold. And to keep these plants bright provide them with plenty of light, including some direct sun, to maintain their colours and variegation.

They are also lovers of high humidity and will thrive happily in a warm bright bathroom or kitchen and, in time, will grow into a gorgeous bush perfect for a dull bright corner.

Pair your Croton Gold Dust with a muted planter to allow the foliage to be this stunners focal point and use as a sunny shelf adornment or tabletop accent piece. However, when placed with other green plants, it'll make the perfect splash.

Please note: Crotons are known to be toxic, best to avoid the white latex sap as this can cause skin irritation. Keep out of reach of pets & children.
