Scientific Name: Plectranthus verticillatus
Our Creeping Charlie comes in a 20cm Hanging Nursery Basket.
Proudly South African, this plant features attractive glossy round leaves with ribbed edges and, although a ground creeper in the wild, grows extremely well as a hanging plant. If given sufficient natural light, Creeping Charllie produces delicate white - pale mauve flowers which are a joy to see!
To encourage new growth, you should prune the plant fairly regularly, by cutting off several centimetres off of the long vines.
Follow these instructions to keep your Creeping Charlie healthy and happy.
Water: Water well and allow to dry out slightly before watering again, but take care not to overwater the plant and water log the soil. If the leaves are a dull green and soft, they are not receiving enough water.
Light: Very bright, indirect light or full sun.
Humidity: Prefers high humidity but will do fine in average humidity.
Fertilize: Every 2 weeks in Spring and Summer.
