Scientific Name: Araucaria heterophylla
Our Norfolk Island Pine comes in a 30cm Nursery Pot.
A quirky houseplant that's growing in popularity, not least because it can double up as a living (and reusable) Christmas tree.
Your evergreen Norfolk Pine will add some shapely textures to your room and will quietly radiate something of an "old world" feeling to any space. Native to the Australian Norfolk Islands, these trees prefer tropical conditions, so lots of bright light, warmth and avoid cool drafts.
Stroke its soft, oily leaves and place it in a special place. Norfolk Pines are one of those houseplants with an old and wise personality, no matter its age. And which one instantly respects.
Follow these instructions to keep your Norfolk Island Pine healthy and happy.
Water: Allow soil to dry out slightly between watering. Take care not to over-water!
Light: Very bright light with some hours of gentle sun if possible.
Humidity: Mist the Norfolk Island Pine at least once a week or more if needed.
Fertilize: Feed plant once a month in the warmer months. No need to feed during colder months.
