  • Indigenous to South Africa
  • Very hardy and waterwise
  • Can get... ENORMOUS if given the space
  • Plant Level: Easy Care

The Tree Aloe is a magnificent and versatile succulent that can elevate both your indoor and outdoor spaces. This beautiful succulent is indigenous to the South African landscape and serves as a striking example of Mother Nature's artistic prowess.

This Aloe is distinguished by its thick, grey-green trunk that branches out gracefully, resembling a tree. Its branches are adorned with rosettes of succulent, lance-shaped leaves that fan out gracefully as it ages, creating an enthralling canopy, when it reaches maturity.

This resilient beauty is well-suited for both indoor and outdoor growing and is perfect for all skill levels. It is a great houseplant if you have a spot near a window that gets indirect sunlight all day, though this can inhibit their growth immensely, If kept in such a position, be sure to adjust the watering frequency. Especially if you are looking for that ultimate structural showpiece.

When placed in the garden or on a Patio or Balcony, it can serve as a magnificent focal point while withstanding high winds. Its ability to withstand dry conditions and drought makes it a great choice for xeriscaping, and its distinctive form will lend an air of exotic allure to any garden.

Whether gracing your living room or enhancing your garden, the Aloidendron barberae, or Tree Aloe, is a magnificent plant that will captivate with its natural charm and adaptability, infusing a sense of wonder and awe for our gorgeous and unique landscape.

Follow these instructions to keep your Tree Aloe healthy and happy.
