Plantify Market Place

Plantify Market Place is a space where owner operated businesses can get access to a market both in-store and online. As well as business and product development support. This is our contribution towards supporting our creative, small, local businesses in a practical way. And help stock Plantify with some lovely South African merch.

Note: Plantify Market Place is in beta mode. We are trialling this programme in an attempt to make it fly. 

WHAT IS PLANTIFY MARKET PLACE?
A section on our online and retail store where we showcase botanically themed products. Look out for the Plantify Market Place watermark on product images.

We make available our logistical infrastructure and order fulfillment capabilities to give small businesses some traction.

We will promote you on our social media, our newsletter and showcase you in the Plantify Market Place and relevant product categories on our website.

Depending on where you’re at in the product development process, we’ll offer support on getting your product ready for market. From design, pricing, supply chain, branding, we can offer insights into what we feel might work best to help your product sell well.

WHO CAN JOIN?
Any South African makers creating botanically themed goods and services.

To make sure that Plantify Market Place is a place that folks aspire to want to stock on, we will make some curatorial calls. We’re not looking to be niche, but we are looking for quality, creativity and diversity.

We also only want to support businesses that are eager to make this work - this is not a plug and play solution. You’ll be getting small, frequent orders, and this will need to work for you as you continue to build your business.

WHAT PRODUCTS CAN BE STOCKED?
Anything Botanically themed, which could include: sow kits, planters, accessories, cushions, seed packs, soils, fertilizers, art, beauty products… and the list goes on.

ONLY CAPE TOWN BASED BUSINESSES?
To minimize shipping costs, we need near access to your product, so Cape Town based businesses are preferable. But if your cost structure allows, we would be able to stock you remotely and have the courier collect from your premises to send to clients directly.

WHAT ARE THE COSTS?
There is no cost to list. We’ll discuss a pricing structure that is mutually beneficial.
